Glad that one of the stupidest denials I've ever seen was tossed out after a hearing. The grounds for denying him were that he had a girlfriend that overdosed (but he was always drug free and paid for her rehab), he had moved around a few times so the police thought he was homeless, and he failed to report an arrest.

At the hearing we showed that he was stopped by the police for no reason and arrested, but released and never had to go to court for it. The judge seriously considered affirming the chief too but we pointed out that there was no risk to public safety at all.
