Leominster Rifle Winter Matches

Anyone plan on going? It starts this upcoming Sunday, 9-11am. Any rifle, caliber, sights. 20 shots in 20 mins. $5.

I'm going to try and make it out, would be my first. Runs all winter thru March.

• Leominster Sportsmen's Association - Winter Rifle Matches - December 1st through the end of March, Sunday mornings 9-11 am, Offhand (standing up) from our woodstove-heated range house. It's any rifle, any caliber, any sights, 20 shots in 20 minutes at 100 yards. Costs $5 - half goes to prizes for the various skill levels. You can use 22's, service rifles, muskets or fine target rifles, scoped or iron sights. Kids shoot for free at 50 yards. Our crackshot riflemen will be glad to give you pointers to improve your skills so you won't miss that deer next time. It's almost that time again!!

Winter Rifle Matches​

Our Sunday morning Winter Rifle Matches will be starting up December 4th and run through the end of March - 9-11am at the Lower Range. Come on down before or after church!

It's any rifle/any sights or scope, 20 shots in 20 minutes. We shoot out the windows of our nice woodstove-heated range house at SR-1 targets at 100 yards, in the standing position. Cost $5.

This is a great way to improve your marksmanship skills for hunting, competition, or just to be "well regulated." Our crack shots can help you to first get 'em all on the paper, then all in the bullseye, then all on the X-ring!

All are welcome - grab your rifle & come on down...any rifle you have is fine!
