Is it typical for the printing to look messy (bleeding) like this? QR code doesn't even seem readable. Battery door also looks a tad different than the image on surefire website - missing that cross pin (new revision?).

I bought it from Amazon (sold by Amazon) - hence my reservation.

Did it come with surefire batteries or generics? Does it say Surefire under the battery cap? Neither is conclusive, but a start.

Lots of fakes out there.
 
The only differences compared to mine are that mine doesn't say 1000 lumens and has pins for the section that presses against the trigger guard. Mine is about 3 years old so could just be revisions.

It doesn't have any of the other fake hallmarks, hence why I'm a little confused.

Batteries came in the light (not the container), but they are surefire batteries. The circuit board under the cap has surefire written on it.
