What was your last firearms purchase for this year (2005)?

Mine was richgetsy's Glock 30 (Thanks Rich!).

An all but new, customized S&W 1911.

She is my newest girlfriend, and, for the moment, my favorite!

After years of claiming I would not, I traded for a S&W 1911SC and am surprizingly happy with it! That was my next-to-the-last purchase for this past year.

I picked up a nice Star model B from Dans ammo. http://www.dansammo.com/images/inv/f2.jpg

It is in near exc. condition with little if any mechanical wear and a pristine barrel and 2 unused mags. After 100 rounds no malfunctions and superb accuracy.
All this for $269.00 shipped to my door thanks to my handy dandy C&R license. :D

BTW, if you are living in MA the C&R is a nice way around some of our draconian gun laws. I got mine because I wanted an 1911 back when there were none on the "approved list". IMO if you are in the least bit interested in firearms, a C&R is a must have and well worth aquiring.

Finally bought a very nice Walther PP, German ORdnance stamped, made about 1943. It has the commercial finger extension magazine, rather than the correct military flat bottomed one, but many officers preferred the extension mag.
It's about 95% blue, and I suspect this post belongs on the military surplus forum. :D
Haven't shot it yet.

I just picked up a Sig P226 9mm secondhand ... Good price, barely fired condition, just need to replace the night sights and I'lll have a good shooter/bump-in-the-night gun.
