Well I got a Ruger 10/22 from a friend awhile back and I notice between the stock and the trigger assy was a couple of shims and the stock was loose. I took a pic and sent to Ruger and within a week I had a new stock. I told them that It was not new, and was out of warranty, but they replaced it anyway.

Ruger would be completely fine with everyone only being able to own 10/22's
