Springfield M1 Garand. Korea war era receiver w/ '45 barrel. This rifle was the result of piecing together the best parts of 4 different CMP garands onto the one with the best barrel. All parts are Springfield USGI components. The barrel is in excellent shape and the readings were 1 at the throat and 2 at the muzzle if I recall correctly. Interesting Korean armory rack markings on the stock, with a heel repair that was most likely done during wartime in the armory. It currently has a Schuster gas plug installed for use with commercial ammo, even though I have only ever used 150gr 30-06 through it I wanted to be extra safe. I have the original plug as well.
I have around 100 rounds or so (will have to check) of federal 150gr 30-06 that can be negotiated into the purchase.
