So im shopping for a new knife for someone and perusing Amazon. While I would never actually buy a knife on Amazon (I’d buy from a proper dealer) I noticed the Buck Store on Amazon won’t ship to my location in MA. This may not be new, but it’s certainly new to me. And it’s not even an auto.

Stop trying to buy knives from Amazon, FFS. This isn’t new. There are plenty of other vendors that will ship to MA.

Why the eff do people think there is no alternative to Amazon?
I think it’s a skinflint thing, so much cheap Chinese garbage there people can’t help themselves if they feel like they saved a dollar.

I honestly wouldn’t buy something like this from Amazon for fear of it being a counterfeit. That site is full of counterfeit stuff and they give exactly zero f*cks about it when you report something as being counterfeited. When I was looking at a buck knife, enough of the reviews where people show the product and it’s clearly a copy turned me off.

I guess I should have elaborated more. I typically buy knives from DLT, Knifeworks, TheKnifeConnection, USAMadeBlade and others, usually custom or on the secondary market. I had googled that particular knife and followed the link to Amazon. Not knowing this was an existing policy shows you how often I shop knives on Amazon.

Try bladeops.com. Got an order a few weeks ago with no issues whatsoever...

There are sooooooo many knife shops on the internet.

I was a dealer years ago, it became a pain in the ass to sell and compete.

Whatever you want knife wise is available.

Well let's be fair... How many of these other places will get you the item in 1 day - and without shipping charges?

That said, I fully acknowledge Amazon as evil. But I do understand why it's the "go to" for most people.

Ya I can’t argue with that, but my point is still valid.
