Just posted my Walther Free Pistol (Electronic trigger) for sale, any info?

Does anyone know anything about these pistols, there is not much information available online? The one I have is in great condition and the trigger still works flawlessly.

Well how can I tell? I was only aware of one walther free pistol as this is the only thing that comes up when searching walther free pistol.

edit: I will dig out the manual when I get home it may have a specific model number.

Yep, unless you know something I do not there is only one Walther Free Pistol (Freie Pistole) The manual is entirely in German. This is a finished auction for what appears to be the same exact gun.

I was asking as Walther (nowadays) seem to sell only Haemmerli made FP's.
"The" Walther FP w/ electronic trigger was made from 1977-1990. I've seen several folks on a German board asking for
spares and service, but have been told by Walther that none is available for some years now. If there's a problem with
the trigger that'd be a job for an old fashioned electronics specialist, much like the repair of an old transistor radio.
That info is taken from a discussion in 2004......

Great info. Yeah I have read about the trigger circuit board issues but mine works fine. There is a guy who makes replacements too.
