NH son Lance and Little Jack are on Alaska son Mark's boat in China Poot bay off Katchemak bay near Homer. They are hauling in red salmon. They have bear tags and had two bears within shooting distance. Too busy with the salmon, so the bears will have to wait another day. Hell of a note when you have to make a choice between catching a fish and shooting a bear. The life of a sportsman can get tough at times. Jack.
