just got back from Iraq

Picture christians project is a partner of this documentary and has done much to aid havresc and many other christian communities in the middle east. Picture christians is co producing the documentary.
If you send the money to picture christians it will be used to aid the Christian communities that I am sure of but drop them a line and let them know what you want the money to be directed to. the go fund me is my site that I am running to fund the documentary that I in turn will use to fund and publicize the village. -David

No they are open to publicity. Hiding does not work ISIS will attack regardless they are only 30 kilometers or so from ISIS controlled territory.
Right now things are calm but there is a future they want in this village. They want it to be an Armenian/ Christian safe haven even after ISIS is destroyed. So they need to reach out to the global community and make themselves known. Already this has helped while i was there six other europeans and Americans were visiting trying to find ways to help the community. So it has proved to be in their best interest to reach out.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

If I can get 4 other NES'ers to match a $20 anonymous donation to your:

https://www.gofundme.com/xkptuc

I'll donate $20 tomorrow.

I only give to worthy causes and I believe this money will help these great people.

I agree but Christian people in Iraq in my experience and from what I know of history are generally peaceful people who are good neighbors and know how to get along with people in a secular society. There will be difficult days ahead with the shift in the political climate and I want the Assyrian and Armenian people in the region to prepare themselves and have a leg up. But without a doubt we share the same enemy. ISIS is an enemy to all people and helping the christians of syria and iraq is helping true allies in my opinion.

amazing. good work. Please let us know if we can help.

Many things can be done to help. Restore Ninevah now is a organization that needs help with funding for the Assyrian community. Picture christians project can direct you more and can direct donations to the Armenian community.
The documentary i am doing needs more support and funding. If you are a specialist or former military many people in the region need your help. anything you could do would be appreciated by me and the people being attacked.

The Armenian government is broke. Armenian Iraqi people are all Iraqi citizens and most all have been rooted in Iraq for 3-4 generations or more.
Most are eastern Orthodox christians and many maintain the Armenian language amongst their own circle but they are also born and raised in Iraq. I have been told little has been done. In my opinion anyone who is a christian, anyone who is against genocide and anyone who is a enemy to radical islam and Daesh should help these people in any way they can. Our government and the western governments aside from Russia has given two shits about the well being of these people and sat silent as they were slaughtered and raped.
That is too bad, it's probably been four generations since the Armenian Holocaust and Diaspora. The only other Government that has the infrastructure to help them is the Israeli government. Have you reached out to the Armenian organizations in Watertown? The Armenian Church might be able to donate stuff for them.

So this is the same guy who got all pissy about not being able to return ammo? Curious
