Remember the movie "Sleepers"? The prosecutor was in on it.

Is anyone here actually surprised at the verdict? In moonbat states, there's no such thing as rule of law, just verdicts and decisions based upon muh feels and victimhood optics. Let's see: middle class white woman victim, homeless illegal immigrant Latino perp. Who did you think the jury was going to side with? Victim wasn't high enough on the SJW oppression ladder. Hell, I'm surprised they didn't try to blame her for getting in the way of his boo-lets.

He claimed self defense despite eyewitnesses all saying he instigated an altercation with the victim. They also tried to blame the victim saying that he was drunk, and that he should've tried to climb back onto the platform. Found NOT guilty of murder. The article describes how one of the jurors, a moonbat white woman college professor, hugged and cried with the defendant after court let out.

As long as you're of the favored skin color and socioeconomic status of the left you're untouchable.

Look, the jury trial is meant to curtail the State’s power. I think this outcome is ridiculous. But I still like the idea that the State doesn’t get to run roughshod over anyone’s rights, even a sleazebag like this. That’s the bigger issue at play here.

The prosecutor should have to work to get a conviction. This one didn’t.

I blame the jury from the standpoint of a guy that knows firearms. But if this jury didn’t? Then the defense attorney did the better job with a trigger-pull argument, and the prosecutor should have been able to deal with that.

The last thing I'd do is defend a prosecutor. They are usually among the scum of the planet. But let's be real. This is California. The prosecutor could have done an amazing job, and the defense attorney terrible. It would not surprise me with the same outcome.

You hit the nail on the head. There is a SJW hierarchy where purely based on race, ethnicity, and gender, is what determines your importance or the validity of your opinion and actions.

Straight white woman is only one step above straight white man, which is to say they least important to them. The killer checks off a bunch of boxes moving him way up the scale.

This is why I stated earlier that there would almost certainly be a totally different outcome if the shooter was a white male or the victim was black/Hispanic midget with a made up gender.

Was just reading on a news ap and it stated that they intend to deport him. Sounds like a smart move since he’s only been deported 5 x before.

He'll be hanging around awhile anyway because he was found guilty of the felon in possession of a firearm. Which only goes to show you, the left hates the guns more than they do the murderers.
I'd say that's pretty twisted logic.

This case is akin to robbing a liquor store, clubbing the clerk to death, but get busted because you walked inside the store with a lit cigarette, which violated the states anti-smoking ordnance.

I'm glad they are deporting him, of course he is under San Francisco rules still - will they just cut him loose anyway under the Sanctuary City crap? If he does get sent back to Mexico, won't he just come back in - he's done it 5 times already.
