Lionsgate has released a brand new Ballerina video for its highly-anticipated John Wick spin-off, which will be led by Academy Award nominee Ana de Armas. The film is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 6, 2025.

“Taking place during the events of John WIck: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro, who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma,” reads the official synopsis.

Fixed it for you. I think I watched all 4 of them. I continued to hope they would be better. They weren't. All this b/c someone killed his dog? LOL

Decent as bond girl. Amazing as Bladerunner 2049. Just absolutely terrible in that Netflix Marilyn Monroe movie. It would be like getting Sophia Vergara to play Liz Taylor. Armas can't eliminate her accent.

they do what all studios do now - total absence of new ideas, they milk existing franchises into death making them unwatchable in the process.
good writers were all dismissed during covid/propaganda years, what is left now cannot write unless there is a word 'trump' in it at least 5 times, it all became unbearable.
 
JW 1 was good. JW 2 was ok. JW 3 and 4 jumped the shark, and I can't watch them over and over like the original

I am looking forward to this spin off though. Hopefully, no more bullet proof suit jackets
 
The first movie was good. Then it got progressively worse because all the action scenes kept getting more and more outlandish in an attempt to top itself.

Yeah, the suits become progressively more bulletproof, to the point that in the 4th movie they’re standing 3 feet apart shooting at each other and pulling the sides of the jackets over their heads to protect themselves.

Read the description of the movie, it takes place during JW3.

As for the movies, I threatened to physically assault the trainees on the firing line if they quoted the movie or said 'I saw this in JW', while doing some movement.

It's still like getting hit with a 100mph fastball, you think you're going to feel that? Yeah, you're going to need a weekend at Massage Envy after a gunfight, even wearing regular armor.

It's the only thing I LIKE about the JW movies, he's 'killable'. He gets patched up in JW1 by the house doc. Told not to do anything stupid or the stitches will rip. He gets drugs to help him deal with when the stitches rip. He's bleeding profusely at the end, so he's opened up again, but staples himself and limps into the sunset.

They even did the physics on the fall from the roof in one of the movies. He fell almost exactly the distance before hitting something that was actually survivable (you'd still be better off getting hit by a car).

John Wick 5 is in development. In John Wick 4, you didn't actually see him die. You just saw his headstone and Winston standing in front of it. And when asked "Where do you think he went?", meaning heaven or hell, Winston replied.. "Who knows?"

Clearly, John survived, and reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated!

I think most of these franchises are good for 2 or at the most. I mean Die Hard still really couldn't get better than the first. John Wick would have been better as 2 x 3hr movies.
