Joe Rogan endorses Sanders

you're right.... we need more corporate media to spoon feed us how to feel and think and hate everyone who does not see eye to eye on every opinion you have.

not in favor of corporate media. i think might be reading too far into my post. the several times i have listened to rogan his show was straight up boring and dull. i was done listening to him before he endorsed a wealthy marxist who owns 3 homes, never worked and preaches equality through mass poverty.

By endorse I presume they mean he said he’d probably vote for him in the primary when he was asked. As far as I know he hasn’t come out with any official endorsement. Either way, it doesn’t change that his show is pretty even handedly anti-establishment.

Not really news, He openly says he is a democrat and always has been. He supports Bernie due to the fact he is not corrupt like all the other candidates. The other candidate he likes is Tusi.

He said all the democratic candidates reached out to go on his show and turned them down since they are all shitbag liars.

He does not cater to a crowd and has super left people on and super right people on.

I love me some Joe Rogan and listen almost daily. You are allowed to not see eye to eye with everyone you know.....
he should have them on and call them out ?

I'd say he is pretty libertarian save for his thoughts on free college, student loan forgiveness, etc. Ironic coming from someone who didn't go to college. Also asinine in my opinion.
You can like Rogan all you want. I used to respect him until he said he's behind Bernie. There is NO "pretty libertarian" in anyone who supports Bernie Sanders to be president of the United States.

I thought he was trolling, but it's quite clear Dope eventually takes its toll on the brain. Anyone who wants Bernie to be president is a commie and hates America.

Joe Rogan has the largest podcast in existence. He isn’t “irrelevant”. Podcasts are huge these days.
The mindset that “Joe Rogan is irrelevant” is why conservatives loose, and will continue to loose.

I’ve never listened to Joe, but I understand the importance of attention and social media... Sadly, those that thumb their nose at “Faceplant” as kids stuff have watched the world pass them by.

You dont have to use social media, but if you fail to recognize the vast importance you will fail. I recently saw first hand the vast incompetence of a local Republican organization attempt an ad / raffle campaign on social media... My 12 year old could have done a better job. They will loose, rights will be lost, they have nobody to blame but their own incompetence in speaking the language of the day.

Let me quantify my previous post about Rogan. I know he's a liberal but like many said before he's pretty level headed and his opinion on most things is pretty solid. I just simply cannot take anyone seriously if they vote for Bernie. You lose 100% percent of your credibility with me.

Who cares who he likes? I mean really, do you know even a single person who changed their mind on who they would vote for based on someone else's endorsement?
You overestimate the intelligence of the average voter. Joe Rogan has the most popular comedy podcast on iTunes with probably millions of listeners. If he wants to preach the benefits of a Bernie presidency it'd be foolish to think that won't impact anyone's decision. Specifically since it's not a political podcast he could be mobilizing otherwise apathetic non-voters.

Anyone who wants Bernie to be president is a commie and hates America.

Or they just want to see the whole system Bern when he tries to do anything.

Voting Bernie in the democratic primary might very well be a wise tactical move for many. I'm not saying Rogan's saying that, but voting for someone in a primary doesn't always mean you want them to be president.

I see were back in the discussion where if you don't vote for my guy I can associate with you anymore [rofl]

I wouldn't consider Joe a Libertarian. He has said that before, but he's not. I'm not either (anymore). That said Joe is definitely center to center left. He has a few right ideas, but most are left. Joe also is certainly not what most of us would consider pro 2A. Joe would say he is, but putting it nicely Joe is a FUDD when it comes to guns.

Rogan's podcasts are downloaded/listened to 190 million times a month.
He has a huge following amongst college kids and 20 somethings....

His following is early 20's -> late teens -> mid 20's to mid 30's from greatest to least. He doesn't have a large following in demographics Gen X and above.

That said, yep, he has a massive following.

My first post ever on the inter webs (besides bulletin boards back in 86) so go easy on me. 😃

Basically Joe Rogan endorses Sanders and the sjws are upset because he doesn’t think men should compete in women’s sports.

My reason for posting this is that although I’ve never listened to his stuff, I know he is a shooter. Wtf? Why would he support Sanders?

We need to get our act together and start calling these people out.

Thanks for listening, I feel better already and my wife didn’t have to hear any of it!
For the ratings, attention etc.. Money

Don't worry... the left has a tendency to beat down anyone who doesn't march exactly to the party line to the point where their world views start changing. Look at Andy Ngo as an example, Eric Weinstein or Dave Rubin as another.

Bernie is a commie POS, we all agree on that point. The one thing about Bernie is he doesn't hide the ball unlike most politicians. Is Rogan foolish to endorse him? Of course he is, but just look at the response that social media and the left are having over his endorsement... they are pounding on him for his beliefs about biological men being men etc.

Well, there's the unspoken end around- support sanders because he has no chance in a general, and even if he did, he'd get politically marginalized for 4 years, allowing non moonbats to accrete power and so on. I also don't think that sanders is nearly as dangerous as shitlery, or lieawatha. He's way more of a waffler than those two.

I actually respect Bernie for admitting he is a socialist. Obama sucked (and got elected twice) because he tried to pretend like he wasn't a POS who hated America.

If Bernie wins the nomination Trump wins in a landslide. I really think if he doesn’t get the nod he will run 3rd party. MSM is doing everything in their power to keep him from being nominated.

Rogan’s point is that of the current field of Dems, Bernie is one of the only ones who is not a flip flipper and says what he truly believes. Joe has always stated that he’s a liberal hippie, so I don’t know why anyone would expect any different from his endorsement.

That said, depending on the guest, his show can be quite excellent and he’s normally extremely fair with whoever is on rather than constantly attacking/ripping them. Bernie was a guest a few months ago and, while I disagreed with almost all of his platform, he does come across as an honest human being.

If you want to give him a try and want to be amused, check out of the episodes with Alex Jones on.

As an independent that leans a little more left than right I’m kind of excited about this.
These guys will be happy to take your guns when you turn them in...

The right does the same exact thing.

If Bernie didn't have open anti 2A stances I suspect this would be an easy win for him.

Bernie not corrupt? Lol

The good news is Bernie will NOT be the candidate in the general election.

My sentiments exactly. He's the best MMA comentator by far, I like segments of his podcast but can't sit through an entire episode, he's funny, BUT, WGAF about what any celebrity thinks? They all need to STFU.

The numbers Rogan gets on his podcast, previously cited several times on this thread, suggest your assessment is off-base.

I don’t listen to this guy either, and I’ve got no time for podcasts. But people like us are going away. Like it or not, our side’s failure to embrace new media is a mistake.

Valid point. Let's change WGAF to IDGAF what any celebrity thinks.

Just heard rogan mention Bernie a few days ago...As many of you have already said, he doesn't necessarily agree with his politics, but likes him as a person, especially in comparison to these career politicians.

Considering this is NES...Isn't Bernies stance on guns in our favor? He has openly said confiscation would be a violation of constitutional rights etc.

Who cares who he likes? I mean really, do you know even a single person who changed their mind on who they would vote for based on someone else's endorsement?

He has a cult like following in the jiu jitsu/mma community, especially in my demo (men in their 20s/30s). People forget that alot of guys are not into politics and could give a rats ass about anything but the goals they're focused on day to day. He can absolutely get these type of people in that demo to go Bernie from a simple endorsement.

I like him and his podcast but take it for what it is: an entertaining, at times funny (joey diaz, alex jones, eddie bravo, etc), dialogue between interesting people. At the same time, while I like guys like Rogan and Jocko, I don't follow their every word like it's a religion. I see alot of the early 20s guys buy every one of Rogan's words a little too easily which is never a good thing, even if the guy is 100% in your camp.
