Jeff Cooper Legacy Foundation

Jeff Cooper was one of my favorite old bastards. Couldn't wait for his articles back in the 70s when the only gun worth having for self-defence was a plain-jane 1911. (still is, in my opinion) I'm starting to feel old when I mention this man to younger shooters and they have never heard of him. What a shame. Glad you mention him, OP.

I'm having the same problem with Bill Jordan. I tell some of the younger shooters that they really ought to read NO SECOND PLACE WINNER and it's, like "Bill Who?"

Regards
John

Don't forget the illiterate Elmer Keith who wrote some of my favorite gun and big game articles. He once admitted to owing his writing career to a good editor. I have Jordan's book, and Ed McGiven's "Fast And Fancy Revolver Shooting". They sure don't make 'em like they used to.
