Don't you feel that your judgment is a little hasty seeing as he hasn't been president for a full month yet?

As far as "duping 50% of the populace" being a qualifier for a usurper, that means that every president can be called a usurper. Look, we have a Democrat president. I know you feel it sucks, but that's the way it is. Give it more than a month before you start comparing him to tyrants.

why do you call him The Usurper?
because he has not provided proof he has met the constitutional requirements of being a natural born citizen..

rather he has spent over $900k in lawyers fees fighting having to show his birth certificate, or open his college records, show what passport he traveled to Pakistan when it was illegal for US citizens to travel there....the list goes on.

I read the word "usurper" as "one who illegally takes the throne"....


and we haven't EVEN started to discuss whether he had a past history of qualifications and accomplishments to show he was capable of the job.......the performance so far is very telling in that regard...

It's an accountability meter that shows the status of over 500 of his campaign promises. Related to the stimulus bill, here are some numbers I grabbed of sections of the bill that fall under his campaign trail promises.

43.7 billion for Department of Education
27.5 billion for Highway Construction
20.6 billion for Other Transportation (including 8 billion for high speed railways)
19.0 billion for National Institutes of Health
16.8 billion for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy
15.9 billion for Other Energy Programs
9.8 billion for Other Department of Health and Human Services
6.0 billion for Innovative Technology Loan Guarantee Program
4.8 billion for Nutrition Assistance Program
4.7 billion for Broadband Technologies Opportunities Progarm
4.6 billion for Corps of Engineers
3.0 billion for National Science Foundation

Further, you're trying to wage the argument that the complaints are only about the "pork" and frankly, that dog doesn't hunt. The whole damned
plan smells bad, the "obvious pork" is just the frosting on the turd cake. I don't really think there is such a thing as a bailout thats the better part
of a Trillion dollars, being "overstated".

Each and every one of the items on this list could be considered pork.

Explain to me why the Federal government should be determining what we are allowed to teach our children? Why can't the state and local education agencies and boards be left alone to determine what children are taught? The Dept. of Education should be abolished. Therefore this is pure pork.

27.5 billion for Highway Construction
Again - why is the Federal govt. in charge of highway construction? Why is this something that cannot be left to the states?

20.6 billion for Other Transportation (including 8 billion for high speed railways)
Once again - why is the federal govt. supplying money for transportation infrastructure? Especially pure pork projects like high speed railways? Explain to me why this cannot be handled by private enterprise.

19.0 billion for National Institutes of Health
Excellent. 19 billion dollars so the federal govt. can publish more crap on health and/or try to pass laws restricting what we can eat. (look out fatties - they are coming for you).

16.8 billion for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy
Why is this something that cannot be handled by private industry? Why is the federal govt. manipulatin energy markets for political purposes?

15.9 billion for Other Energy Programs
And these are?

9.8 billion for Other Department of Health and Human Services
And they need this for what? Explain how exactly this money is in any way a stimulus for a contracting economy.

6.0 billion for Innovative Technology Loan Guarantee Program
Again - the federal govt. manipulating markets. Explain to me why this money could not be given out by private equity. I have worked in companies for years that survived on venture capital from PRIVATE SOURCES. The supplying of loan guarantees from the govt. means that said loan guarantees are open to the political process. They will be affected by the political process. The political process is more open to people who are the direct friends of those in power making the decisions - therefore this is pure pork, for friends of said people. And worse yet - money supplied to companies who rely on political connections will inevitably hurt other companies in the same markets who do not have access to that money. PURE PORK.

4.8 billion for Nutrition Assistance Program
Umm - what the f*** is this? School lunches? It might not be pork. But it is welfare. Why exactly is the federal govt. supplying money for school lunches - why can't this be done locally or by the state govt.'s or even charity?

4.7 billion for Broadband Technologies Opportunities Progarm
PURE PORK. Obama wants to subsidize broadband internet access for certain favored constituencies. While the rest of us have to pay for it ourselves. PORK and WELFARE.

4.6 billion for Corps of Engineers
For what more non functional levies? Which construction contractors are going to get the money from this one? Most likely pork.

3.0 billion for National Science Foundation
So we can try to come up with a real reason why global warming is the truth - so we can steer more money into "alternative" energies? PORK -and once again something the federal govt. should not be involved in.

2.5 billion for Telemedicine/Distance Learning/Broadband
Huh? Why is this something the federal govt. needs to be involved in? Explain why this is something that private industry cannot handle? PORK.

2.0 billion for National Coordinator for Health Information Technology
PORK and draconian. Explain to me why the Federal govt. should be involved at all in keeping our medical records. This is 1984 type crap and we will all live ( or more likely die waiting for a doctor) to regret it if this goes too far.

How do they get the balls to call this a bailout plan - or the currently preferred term of "stimulus" when there are so many line items in there that are blatantly just $$ spent on more govt. programs.

If this was any sort of stimulus package it would be a list of stuff targeted towards sectors of the economy that would DEFINITELY create jobs. Instead we have billions of dollars for: Dept. of Education, Nutritional Assistance Program, National Science Foundation, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, National Institutes of Health, etc. etc. etc.

There is absolutely NO reason to think that any of the above agencies receiving more money will have anything to do with reviving the economy.

The reality of this bill is that the Democrats wanted to spend a shitload of money - so everybody piled on and added in their own little piece of shit to the big turdpile. And they all sat back and passed it without substantive debate or evaluation - BECAUSE IT IS PORK. And because as Rahm Emanuel said: Never let a good crisis go to waste.

But as I have said before - I think this is all good.

Because as the level of anger among thinking citizens rises - the day that I have long waited for is rapidly approaching: the collapse of the federal govt. and the choking to death of the Democratic party. The Republicans took themselves out with 8 years of Bush - now it is the Democrats turn.

The Democrats are spending the federal govt. into oblivion. They are already talking about 100's of billions if not trillions of dollars in more spending - and the value of the dollar is doing a fine balancing act. When the federal govt. can no longer pay on it's debt - the shit will hit the fan. Or they will be forced to save themselves by inflating the money supply like crazy - in which case the pissed off people I mentioned above will throw them into the fan. Either way - I can't wait for the day.

The entire thing is in direct violation of the Constitution. The entire Federal Government is in direct violation of the Constitution... thanks to the voting habits of the drones who either don't respect or don't understand why this Country exists and desire to use the Federal government as their proxy to forcibly violate other peoples liberty.

We are sure approaching critical mass in regards how the gov't treats us. The question is what is going to happen.

I read somewhere that one guy predicted this economic meltdown as well as other issues related to economic activity. His latest prediction is going to be riots over taxes (probably by those who are being raped by them and then those who depend on them). The common 'enemy' to both groups is the big old gov't.
I hope those of you expecting refunds files early! [thinking]
