IT IS GO TIME! New Funny Pic and Video of the Day MEGATHREAD

I'd bet almost any amount of money a Tesla S Plaid is faster in every way, for probably about the same money.

Edit: I've tried to tune duel Holley 4 barrels. Need special tools to do it right.

My non EV car has those horrible stacks and I'm certain it's more fun that any Tesla S Plaid ... most likely close to as fast in the quarter and beats it everywhere else.

Very easy to tune also. [smile]

I knew someone would pull out a go-cart and say something similar.

I'd rather the Cobra as well for a weekend car, but first of all, that's a fuel injected manifold. The computer does ALL the work for you. Get that same setup with a mechanical carburetor setup and get back to me.

Fuel injected stacks... that's why I said very easy to tune. Linkage adjustable stacks is a big nope for me.

She's more like a death-cart than a go-cart, 630 hp at around 2,300 pounds [cheers]

Expensive, but probably worth every penny in frustration. I remember my 750 on a 428CJ, any major weather change, the car didn't run quite right.

Depends what you call special tools. I've balanced multi card motorcycles, 2 and 4, and a couple dual 2 barrels with noting more than a bunch of vacuum gauges and a tachometer

Let's do a quick poll. How many people on this board have a vacuum gauge in their garage? So, yes, while possible, it's still a PITA to do multiple carbs to the point of being optimum. Compared to a FI system, where you plug in your computer and it does the work.

Computers have taken all the "fun" out of hotrods. [devil]

All you need is some clear tubing and I use red transition fluid and make a manometer. I go with a differential measurement both ends plug in for a two carb.
