A timeless song, because so many guys have been there!
(Myself, I landed in Hollywood while the song was in rotation around 1978, quickly picked up a young honey on the Blvd. - she took me into the Hills to Annette Funicello's house, then threw me out - after which I got hassled by the cops for walking alone at night. Not quite the happy ending of ballads lol.)

I hope after America is rebuilt and in many generations when unfortunately the shame and mistakes of the boomers is forgotten and a future generation makes the same mistakes and flushes it all down the toilet again they at least have a better soundtrack.
