It’s Windy Today

Also went to my friend’s range. Howling wind, 40F. Shot a box of .38 Special Federal 158gr LRN, and the black box of Winchester Defend. Used the ‘37 Detective and the ‘12 Police Positive. Couldn’t hit with the Police, but was pulling black with the Detective at 75 feet. Winchester SD was very comfortable to shoot; less recoil than the Federal LRN.

The red target with the fewest hits was the SD ammo, had to aim at 12:00. The other red was LRN and I had to aim at 6:00. The 2 on the white were single action LRN

No shit..... There i was....iraq.....2003.....first sandstorm hit in October......wind gusts so strong it was like getting sandblasted.......an entire row of about 40 porta shitters in tikrit blew over and tumbled around for an hour by or bn headquarters......they had not been pumped out in a week.......now THAT.....was a shitstorm!!!

And there ain't no shit in the world like MRE shit........that was special!!!!

We learned you have to stack sandbags on the floors of those sumbitches to keep em from blowing over.

Shot the Winchester D black box .380 out of the 1915 Colt...very nice. This shoots POA/POI....The Liberty is high requiring a low hold for the lighter round. I think I'll switch to this, but very hard to find locally.
