Kitchen backsplash in. Bathtub grips in. Might finish save paint next week. Dishwasher and stove next Wednesday.

The stained glass window that was going to go in the bathroom will go into the kitchen instead. Almost a perfect fit...needs a little planing and then screwed down.

Then there's the other projects...

Not to pick nits, but why does the sink protrude from the counter top?

That's actually a thing. Called a farmhouse sink, I believe. Or apron front sink.
That's exactly what it is.

Mmmmmmkay... so it's a thing, but why? There must be a reason. I looked at apron front sinks and the makers make more than 2, one protrudes the other is flush, there is even a curved front.

1/2 bath upstairs done. Painting of stairs, dining room, kitchen and master bath under way. Week 12, I think. Finish painting on Monday and a couple little electrical things. Waiting for my permit to demolish my front stairs and put in a small porch.
