I did a search and didn't find anything, but I took mine and disassembled/cleaned/reassembled it without any problems...I thought. I pulled the bolt back and it locked, but when i push down on the slide lock, the slide doesn't move forward. I have no idea why this is. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm gonna head back to the store tomorrow to see what they can do, just figured id see if i could get any answers here beforehand.

I thought it was either a MKIII or a 22/45... regardless.
There are a ton of youtube videos on dis-assembly / reassembly. Point muzzle at ground then sky and so fourth, they are tricky and take practice. I don't do a full take down on my MKII often and it still takes me time to get it right.

I am pretty sure the hammer is out of position when you reassembled it. Take it back apart and try again. You have to have the muzzle pointed up, and the hammer leaning back, when inserting the bolt. Watch the following video:

Found out what was wrong, the hammer strut wasn't going in the mainspring housing. I took it to the shop i bought it from, they took it down and figured it out. Thanks for the replies though, I really appreciate it.

Glad you got it figured out. The main way to tell that you've done it right, is that you have some tension when you do the final push on the main spring housing.

After a couple of times, you'll be a pro.

I'm glad i got if figured out too. I'm really excited about taking it out, I shot a MkII when i was younger with my dad and it was a dream. I don't recall us ever taking it apart though haha. It came apart surprisingly easy and went together easy for the most part, with the exception of this one hiccup.
