they really go up to people like that for traffic stops? By the time she managed to swing that rifle up, the "subject" could dump a handgun mag into her.
Eric Rudolph, AKA the Olympic park bomber. He had lots of local support. The feds came in throwing their weight around, trying to make the locals cooperate and basically hit a stone wall.there was a story of a guy who was on the run in the woods for something like 10 years down south they finally caught him when he went dumpster diving for food. i can't remember his name. they tried everything to catch him including IR helicopters.
If I lived in the area, I would not be helping in the apprehension of Frein. I don't support what he did, but he clearly did it for reason's he believes are righteous. He may only want to do LE harm, but if I am a person acting in concert with LE, what does that effectively make me?
"My name's Paul, and this is between ya'll…"
For all I know this PA State trooper maybe a warrior. She reminds me of my mother all dressed up "Tacticool" for Halloween.

This thread is delivering now
helping would violate my number one rule. never talk to the police. there's alot more to this story not being told he must of had some really negative interactions with the staties down there. the media wants us to believe this guy just woke up and snapped
I'm not saying lockdowns are ok......I never even hinted at that....... I'm reacting to his statement that "I don't support what he did, but he clearly did it for reason's he believes are righteous".........and wondering what that exactly means. The guy did kill some troopers........is there some "justification' for that......that I am unaware of?Hes not wrong. Why get involved? I don't care what the reasons were behind what happened, its no excuse for lockdowns and restricting the rights of those who had nothing to do with it. The neighbors didn't shoot anyone, why are they being dragged out of cars at gunpoint? Why are they not allowed to go to their own homes, on public roads?

I'm curious.....truthfully curious.......are you saying that the guy they are looking for.......if for some reason had some bad interaction with LEO.....and is somehow "justified" in killing some state troopers?

i'm no judge or jury. i don't know all the facts, maybe they shot his dog. I'm just stating i highly doubt he woke up one morning choose between coffee or shoot up the barracks. there must be more to the story not being reported on. i could be wrong but this guy seemed to pick non civilians for a reason.
Look at the Justina Pelletier case. Take my kid away and I'll kill you and anyone who gets in my way.

lolWay to go, Rambo.

Some people might have perfectly valid reasons for going to war with the state.
lol
If your kids aren't worth killing for, what is? sheep.
I'm not picking on you as this subject comes up fairly often.
Why post anti-police and anti-authority sentiments on a gun owners' public bulletin board? If you think that way maybe it's better to keep those thoughts to yourself than to potentially give the anti-gunners more ammunition to undermine law-abiding gun owners.
From my brief Googling of Frein he seems like a bona fide whack job.

maybe you can't read. i'm not pro or anti LEO. I was making the statement this guys for some reason target LEO's not civilians something more is going on. Maybe he gets pulled over everyday driving by this barracks and has his rights trampled on. Maybe he is just nuts. I don't know. does it give him the right to commit murder? NO. you must be trolling
I'm out or this thread now.......really you guys are comparing this guy in PA saying he might be the next Carl Drega and that both of these guys were actually justified in killing? Wow ........I'm out.
You have stated that under certain circumstances you will commit murder. What is the purpose of making a public statement like that?
For a legal gun owner that shows extremely poor judgment imo.
no, I'm not comparing him to anyone. Others have insinuated that it's never ok to shoot troopers. I disagree and provided examples as to why.
Paul Keat, 42, a local man in a camo jacket and a baseball cap, smoked a succession of cigarettes as he recalled trying to return to his home on Friday, only to find his hilltop neighborhood cordoned off by the police. But he knew a back way, he said, and he took it.
After he got out of his pickup truck, Mr. Keat said, a police officer — “I would say on edge” — tossed him to the ground, handcuffed him, and ran an identification check. But the two men managed to have a brief conversation before Mr. Keat was escorted home.
“We’re looking for somebody who killed one of our own,” Mr. Keat recalled the officer saying.
And Mr. Keat recalled responding: “I know why you’re out here.”
