ISIS in 15 states.

I thought it was like half that owned guns but still 45 million on 71 isn't good odds even if they have 71 terminators
 
ISIS shouldn't be a problem for the people on this forum. Let's remember, the people training these morons are a bunch of sand monkeys who haven't spent a day of their life outside of their sand pit in DurkaDurka, Syria. Home field advantage, these "militants" have never even seen a pine tree, and wouldn't know how to react without a trillion lumens of sunlight blinding their beady, desert-adjusted eyes.

Let us all remember their training manual: make a poor-quality IED, run into a shop dressed as a ninja, explode. Worst-case scenario, these 71 "soldiers" will get a few Starbucks. But if ISIS planned on threatening the rule of America with 71 people? They must be out of their fkn minds.

Isn't the number down to 70 now, considering that Boston officer just sent one up to meet his 72 virgins? xD

"The people on this forum"...most of us (I'm not ashamed to group myself there) have zero military training. While I personally have experience in martial arts, I don't pretend that I can repel all attacks. And to think that because the terrorists haven't "seen pine trees" means they're ineffective is head-in-the-sand asinine.

I have to agree with this. I have many years in the infantry and that would do little good if a pressure cooker bomb or VBIED went off, or a couple of gunmen go into my kid's school and shoot it up.
The ways they could terrorize are numerous and easy. I'm thinking the big problem is finding volunteers that are actually willing to meet allah.
 
These guys can definitely do some damage, and probably will but that will finally get our lazy America asses off the couch and away from watching the Kardashians. Americas need a kick in the ass right now if we're ever going to stop becoming complacent and start restoring our strength. Our government and law enforcement aren't going to be able to protect us without enslaving us....do we really want that?

Or those people will beg their government to protect them at all costs, the highest one being liberty of course. Which do you think is more likely?

Stop top being a chicken little. We're in good hands with DHS. Just look at their airport security record. They missed 95% of weapons smuggled through their checkpoints.

Remember that the current plan isnt to 'take over' the us. They dont plan on running tanks down 95 and creating a goverment. They only want to TERRORISE the general population into addopting their laws/ethics/etc...

That and to scare enough people to cause the economy to collapse and make the american empire fall so they can raise up their own. All that is needed is a few dozen attacks at random places and most people will be to scared to even go out food shopping and our sociaty will fall apart.

Lucky for us most people who think suicide missions are a good idea are not the brightest bulbs....

This. We're not looking at an enemy that we can have a western-style shootout in the street with. For force-on-force, sure, we'll win by a landslide. What makes it more difficult for us is that we are up against a non-traditional enemy who is sneaky and highly immoral and will blow himself up in your kid's school. Very different ballgame.

Short version - a relatively small number of jihadis, maybe 50-60, come across the Mexican border in small groups. On a pre-arranged day about half of them walk into schools all over the country and start shooting. Once the highways are jammed with first responders and scared parents, the rest of them start shooting up the highways.
 
The reality is it dont matter how many gun owners there are or how Combat ready you are, their game isnt about straight up shootouts its 100% about targeting unarmed people including woman and children who are going about their daily lives. Shopping malls, grocery stores or large populated events are the high value targets for these animals, sure if they came marching down main street taking pot shots at houses ect.. it would be great to unload on them but that wont be how it would play out, it would be totally random and brutal. Ofcourse the more armed civilians we have the better off we are but sadly it wont stop a motivated piece of shit terrorist at least getting some kill numbers.

Be carfull. Evidently there is no proof that he ever said such a thing. It mostly comes from the movie (midway?) though it was mentioned in a book or two at the time.

71 can make a pretty good impact. Remember, 19 of these pieces of shit gave us a significant death toll, followed up by the Patriot act, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, NSA spying on Americans, DHS, getting damn-near raped by the TSA, and many other things that significantly changed the way many Americans live and are treated by government entities.

Picture 71 Sandy Hooks or bombings on the scale of the marathon, or the Atlanta Olympics, or even the Murrah building in OKC, happening all at once and the impact that would have on the American way of life.
