Is this still America???

Why don't more people use paragraphs?

When I see a gigantic blotch of typing, I usually try to read the first sentence. If it is written such that I'm reminded of a bestselling adventure/thriller novel, I sample another sentence.

Usually, it seems like run-on sentences in a run-on stream of consciousness rant.

Maybe it is good, but it appears so unthoughtout and unorgannzed, I don't feel I have the energy to expend decyphering it.

My loss, I'm sure. I feel somewhat guilty, particluarly when others then highlight it and approve. Still, I move on.

If one is going to spend the time writing a treatise, please make it more user-friendly, if you want others to read it.

There will be no elections in the fall. The administration will create a crisis and invoke martial law thus no elections. These people will not give up their power.

You won't be the first to predict this. They are not ready to let go. This is their perfect storm. Their time is here now and may not be here again. We will see a blitzkrieg of legislation shoved down our throats between now an the end of September. We will like none of it. I have said some pretty far fetched things recently that seem almost fictional. I have been ridiculed by friends and even family for saying some of them, but through all this I am watching one by one as my predictions are coming to light. It scares me! Does Obama seem even slightly concerned about the Nov elections? Why is that? The Dem incumbants are but not him. What does he know that we don't? I trust nothing he says or does. Anyone who has an entire team of lawyers scrubbing his past clean and making it inaccesible for public scrutiny can't ever be trusted in my book.
Is this still America? I have to watch what I say publicy for fear of big brother listening. I have to watch what I say in public forums as big brothers watching. I must make decisions like how will I best help my family in an economic collapse and how will we survive? Will there be civil unrest? How much emergency food should I store? I must pick out and scrutinize those who will stop at nothing to take down this country. This isn't America as I know it.

This is why I and others tried to tell everyone before Obama's election how destructive he would be even if limited to a single term. If immigration reform gets passed, it will bethe final nail in the coffin. Even without that, as you point out, enormous irreversible damage has
been done already.
Yes we tried and they drank the koolaid. If the secrecy surrounding this POTUS was public knowledge he wouldn't be here.

I assume it's my rant you are referring to. I posted to reply to a charged up question. I didn't know I needed perfect grammar to answer. Yes move on if you missed the point and we'll all make sure we answer with one liners to please you. I'm far more perturbed with the state of our country than your petty grievence.

I'd love not to believe that, but as time goes by they do seem to be coming out of the woodwork. It's a scary thought!

Many of our dear conservatives are just as much the fascist pigs that their liberal brothers are. They both suffer the unfortunate opinion that they have the right, even the responsibility, to tell sovereign men how they must live in their own homes. Filth, by any other name, is still filth.

+1....The question when it comes to Republicans/Democrats simply is one of "which freedom do you care less about?"

I have the disturbing feeling every day that the United States that I grew up loving is disappearing before my very eyes. I remember when we used the Constitution as a guideline and the rules of government meant something.

You must be really, REALLY old.

Why do I sense economic doom shortly before the November elections or potential attacks within America in order to curb the elections. I couldn't agree more that they have the perfect storm brewing and until they get done destroying whats left of this great country, there will be no elections. Remember, many, many troops are and have been trained in urban warfare and its not for fighting in the streets of Baghdad or Tehran.

Listen. A bunch of morons also predicted martial law would prevent elections during the Bush administration. Didn't happen. It doesn't need to happen. Voting isn't working regardless, and politicians from either party refuse to listen to their voter base, but rather follow down the socialist agenda that dominates both parties. The only signifficance that the voter base has, is that it must be lied to and convinced so that one scumbag can get into office and do the same damn thing that the last scumbag did, only do it a different way.

Clue: You live in a socialist country right now.

Fact: The constitution is not the standard that holds the most legislative weight in this country.

So, no this is not still America. America died long ago. This country sucks. It isn't worth fighting for, and its not worth flying its flag. The only problem is, this country truly is the best country on this planet. And that is the saddest part of all. Do what you will.

I hear on Fox that by the end of the next 10 years, 70% of the people in the U.S. will get more back from the government in services, than they pay in.

Frightening and deeply discouraging!
