What does this go to? Is this correct for a 1931 MN 91/30?

It is a Mosin Nagant sling. To say its "correct" as in correct for a 1931 date I am not sure.

Realize that in wartime the Russians used whatever was available for slings - leather trouser belts, rope, tractor fan belts - you name it. But the web style with leather dog collars was the standard.

IIRC weren't the blue ones for Russian Navy rifles? I know a bunch of these came in a year or so ago and used to be all over E Bay.

You win!!!!! The guy I work for part time got a bunch of them in with the matching ammo pouches. He was going to just toss them because they were extra...I of course had to intervene...they now have a nice home...my home
