~ Is it time to check a tad closer for cracks? . . .

I check for any imperfections when I clean my guns etc. but some are fairly well hidden, as this video that I bumped into shows. After watching the video I grabbed my trusty ol' 586 to check if there were any cracks there that my keen eye may have missed. I know his 586 was a special one but I checked anyhow. Nothing showing on mine I’m happy to say. Check out the video if you haven’t already seen it before.

This is what one comment said about the cracks cause:
@Jrhoney I would say that there was a problem with the forcing cone letting to much pressure to escape and just like anything else, it finds the weakest link. The under lug where the extractor rod goes is where the thinnest metal is, so that's what I think happened.
