This appears to be legit:

KAC Bullet Flight 1.0.0

A ballistic computer designed to provide quick solutions in the field

Click here to purchase the iPhone App. (requires firmware 2.2 or higher)

On the main screen, you can select a rifle/ammo profile and opt to predict a bullet path. You can also edit profiles, change options, or get information.

To enter a new profile select Modify and fill in the fields.

There is also an app called isnipe and it is only $4.99, the one above is $11.99.

so far I've too cheap to pay for any apps. the free ones take up my time. i know me, if I buy one app, i'll buy another and another......

the iPhone is like crack! [laugh]

The one I downloaded is much better.

It's called Ballistic. $3.99

It has over 1000 projectiles. It also has many more variables than both of the above.

Although, for these prices, why not buy them all and throw away the ones that don't agree with you.

How does it handle BC? Does it have an input for a single BC figure, or does it handle multiple BCs per projectile?

Two of them you need to supply, but one of them (Ballistic) comes with just about ever rifle caliber imaginable preloaded (including .50 beowulf). You can then tweak per your loading.
