Fascinating interview... he's the real deal.
Hell of a story.
"It was full on Matrix..."
I'm glad his junk still works...
Will keep an eye out for book.

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center near Ramstein AB, Germany, for those wondering where he was taken.
Here's an example of a C-17 Medevac (Bagram AB, Afghanistan to Ramstein AB, Germany in 2008).
Kind of defines that "You are never out of the fight " saying doesn't it ?
That's one tough and determined dude right there.
Holy shit. My first thought was " No..no way". Must have been a kid shot him repeatedly in the armor with an old 380 or something.
Nope. 27 times with an AK at close range.
He took a 9mm to the ass too!
Damn! SEALS know how to SEAL.
Given what's happened, the guy has a f***ing great sense of humor!
11 of those rounds were stopped by the body armor. God bless body armor and the makers there of.
It is amazing that he didn't bleed out. Shot 27 times, killed everyone in the room and lived to tell the tale. I hope that when the adrenaline wore off a Corpsman was right there with the morphine.
Nice find. Thanks for posting.
Very grateful we have elite warriors fighting on our side.
Another JUST F N WOW. Thanks for the post!
I was talking with some seals at a birthday party at Natick Labs and after some booze I interrupted the men and said to one of them that they were just taxi drivers for the Marines. His buddies held him back. I was about get my ass kicked and didn't even realize it for a minute.
Would have been a nice story had I survived the beating.
This guy needs a wheelbarrow to haul those nuggets around.
