Can someone point me toward the inheritance laws in MA. I just inherited a bucket load of firearms from my Uncle who lives in another state. I'm pretty sure that the majority of firearms I just inherited are illegal in MA. I sure would hate to sell them, they really do have sentimental value.

Sorry for your loss.

Only so-called "assault weapons" made post-9/13/1994 and hi-cap mags made after that date are illegal to possess in MA, assuming you have an LTC-A. Otherwise, almost no guns are "illegal" to own. [I say "almost" because sawed off shotguns, things that don't look like a gun, and other oddities are indeed illegal in MA.]

Inheritance bypasses FFLs or you would indeed lose probably every handgun in that collection.

Like LenS said, there are very, very few guns that are actually illegal to own in this state. The only thing you have to worry about is AWB compliance.
