Infuriating

the anti's always just read the first part of the second amendment. It's like their eyes shot off after the word 'militia".

Since anyone with a brain can read the word "militia" right there in the 2d and know it's not about this little twerp having the right to take a ****ing pistol into Costco!
Actually, Mr. Burdick:

mi·li·tia
məˈliSHə
noun

a military force that is raised from the civil population to supplement a regular army in an emergency.
all able-bodied civilians eligible by law for military service.

Pretty damn clear. Apparently YOU'RE the one who's brainless.

Also posted the same in the comments.

Wow - a license attorney who refuses to recognize that this question is "settled law" as far as the US judicial system is concerned.

The fact that Mr. Burdick feels the need to comment on the size of this individuals genitalia (or his imagination thereof) in such infantile terms removes Mr. Burdick from the pool of those who's opinions should be seriously considered.

Writer is a former prosecutor. 65% of these people are total dicks by association, only scum potentially worse are ambulance chasers.

what can you expect from a former prosecutor. I wonder how many times officer's in the police department where he served shot and killed either willfully (but unjustifiably/inappropriately) or accidentally innocent persons? How many of those police officers did he indict and prosecute for their wrongful actions?

**** that guy and the sheep agreeing with him, but it is pretty douchey to have a shoulder sling in the open like hes bruce willis or something

Guns are deadly weapons. Some of us don't like deadly weapons in places where we take our children and grandchildren. I don't understand why gun-lovers are shocked... shocked by popular opinion.

Holy WTF Batman. Think of the children!!!

What's douchey about it? That it upsets moonbats who have basically made a decision to be upset about it? [rofl]

I think its douchey my opinion i dont see any tactical adcantage having it up on your shoulder. Unless its a 1911 for weight reasons. Ive never carry on the shoulder I dont think its comfortable, idk why you guys are getting but hurt about my opinion. Imo in a sd situation id rather it on my hip, I could use my left hand and step back with my right leg while reaching for my weapon on my hip, rsther than reaching up near my left armpit to draw and probably getting stabbed in my right side since its wide open..

Family:

I think that the use if "douchey" is the problem, not your questioning of the validity/utility. As an adjective, it carries a certain stigma.

Perhaps he was carrying under a coat, and had taken it off?

The less hatin' about others' carry preference, the better. Personally, I think that appendix carry is just pointing in the wrong direction....plus I'm not built for that mode. But to each his/her own.

Soooo 25 year old with no clue how to use a firearm according to him. What's the average age of a US soldier again? Your telling me he can tell how well he is trained with a gun just by looking at him huh. For all we know that "25 year old kid" could be special forces. I'm glad according to him your age determines how well you can shoot.

It's Detroit.

Do we really need to question what, why, or how he was carrying? If anything he wasn't well enough armed.
