I just obtained a Remington Nylon 66 in Seneca Green in very good condition and according to the stamping on the barrel it was manufactured in April 1964.
My question is that the stamping is "CL3 (appears to be an antler type design and then) of 5." (CL3 ? of 5).
Does anyone know what this means?
Also I have one in brown with a stamping of J10?
Any idea of the DOM?
Any info. will be greatly apprieciated!

You might try looking for info in the Remington model 10c.

I have a 10c and i had to buy mags for the nylon66. During my research it seemed as though they were the same rifle.
