In Process M&P with slide cuts pics.

This is an M&P .40 Compact for NES member Tom P. The slide will get some new night sights and a Coyote Tan. The lower a two tone of Flat Dark Earth and Black Cerakote.

Lots of measuring and set up for the machine work. The slide markings have to come off or they would be cut by the slots in the slide.
 
That looks fantastic, I like the look of the lightening slide cuts.

How does that finish hold up on the plastic receiver? Do you provide a warrantee?

Very nice.

But it seems like a waste of Mr. Derr's considerable talent.

In my mind, plastic guns are tools. And all that effort doesn't actually make the gun run any better.
But to each his own. Where I see a waste of $, someone else sees beauty.
 
Saxonville armory can do that as well. I don't know about that kind of slotting or the quality of modifications as I know they so a pretty awesome job at restoration. But I can tell Greg does do pretty high quality work. Now only if he'd say where he's located...
