The Wisconsin Assembly has passed a package of eight bills designed to prevent suicides. The bills all passed with broad, bipartisan support. Still, Democrats argued the measures passed Thursday aren't as effective as gun control measures they refused to debate, including a "red flag" bill that would allow judges to confiscate guns from people determined to be a threat to themselves or others.”

Democrats grudgingly pass bills to save lives that don’t involve gun control. I well expect they will refuse to acknowledge data showing the suicide rate declines if guns were not restricted or seized.

suicide is another "silent killer." very rarely does anyone who mentions aloud they are going to kill themselves actually do it. it's the person who is internally conflicted and tormented and shows no outward sign that follows thru. no one will ever know if the money allotted will actually save a life but it sure makes a politician rest easy and sleep at night.
Make it illegal. Problem solved.
yeah, really! lol
