Illinois Rep. Sean Casten: We Need an Australia-Style Mandatory ‘Buyback’ Because America Has Too Many Guns

The entire gun buyback-confiscation ship has sailed. Respect for the law as an American institution has been used against us testing our morals, ethics, and compliance to the point of no return. No more ground will be given, and no firearms will be taken en masse - 2020 has seen to that. The Constitution, specifically the 2nd, has blessed us with the tools for self-defense and to resist tyranny - truly the hill to die on. Earthly life is temporary, eternal life is forever in the Lord. The men who died at Ft. McHenry holding the flag in place under bombardment gave us the example. It is in the very fabric of our national identity to stand firm. In 1814, as now, you must resist their efforts to take our souls and redact our lives as men. Live on your feet, not on your knees, especially now. Molon Labe.
Amen sir, Amen!

Illinois Rep. Sean Casten: We Need an Australia-Style Mandatory ‘Buyback’ ...
What you mean "we", Kemo Sabe?

Hey Sean. I have a better idea. Move to Australia and see first hand how great their gun laws are working.
I think it would be better yet if he moved halfway to Australia.

Yeah, that worked out great in Connecticut IIRC. They got what, 5% of the guns and mags, and then they quietly let go of it, because they started to look like the morons they are. If they try that shit, civil disobedience will get a brand new meaning. Those democrats really need to take a loooong hiatus from their own bullshit, and use the time to familiarize themselves with the concept of reality. In the meantime, this clown can eat a bag of Dick's. He can share that with Beto and that Swalwell character.

Casten, who has touted the success of gun buyback programs before, suggested the US follow Australia’s lead.
“They took a whole bunch of guns out of circulation, and they haven’t had a mass shooting since,” Casten said. “Why don’t we do that?”

Uhh, yeah. You might wanna check your facts there, Representative.

They never mention that the country has more firearms in private hands than before and that only a small percentage was ever turned in. they offered an amnesty a while back. Didn't help much.
