... then don't we still retain the right of self-defense under the Ninth and Ten Amendments? Said differently, if the antis really to "confiscate" them, wouldn't the Second, Ninth and Tenth Amendments all have to be stricken? Yes, I know, the principle of self-defense predates the Constitution. Just sayin'.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

10A:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
