it is always a pity when I see youth wasted on the young. Chances are he'll go one of two ways: 1. Get whackier and live on the margins as an animal rights activist 2. Change his name back once he realizes that he is regarded as a whack job (people do get smarter as they get older).
If he was my kid, all financial assistance would cease immediately, and while I wouldn't disown him, I wouldn't encourage to come and visit either. If he still lived at home he would be out on his ass muy pronto.
