Difference? The diff is we can't understand either Homer or Shakespeare.
Spellcheck oh spellcheck, where art thou?Difference?
Not to mention the Mandate starting in Jan on class 8 trucks
Winter of 25/26 will be interesting
How is that any different than "our ambulance if out of fuel"? Electric service vehicles are being designed to be able to spend more time on the road than then current gas powered ones. Charging time included. My GF has some chronic health conditions and has had to use an ambulance before. I can see it now: "sorry, we can't send help, our electric ambulance is on the charger."

That's a lot of assumptions. There can be a gas shortage too. I agree with what you're saying about the power grid, but that's speculation on the worst case scenarios at this point. It takes 5 minutes to fuel up a diesel ambulance vs. much longer for electric. Plus they work in extreme cold (you have to plug in a block heater to start it, but still) whereas electric does not, or with reduced range. Plus how do you charge it when there is a blackout from crappy energy policy? For instance:
The commies think they know better than the utility how much natural gas they need:
New Report from Healey Indicates No Pipeline Needed

Eversource CEO Warns New England May Not Have Enough Natural Gas to Last the Winter
America Has Plenty of Natural Gas. So Why Is New England Left Out in the Cold? -
Renewables, as they stand, cannot supply enough base-load power. MA won't allow construction of nuclear plants and mandates that a certain % of power come from renewables. So even if your electric ambulance had a 2000 mile range the grid here can't handle charging tens of thousands of electric vehicles, especially in a storm when we would need it most. Hell, it can't handle just a few electric vehicles NOW: the utility warned us that we were going to have blackouts last winter because of lack of capacity...good luck if you have a heat pump like is now mandated in new construction in MA. And when you get to the ER it's full of illegals and there is a 14 hour wait, plus there aren't any beds available if you need to get admitted (I can tell you that from personal experience). And if you need certain types of healthcare (like a transplant) hopefully you're the right race, otherwise you're out of luck (see point four here).
He got a stash of old useless gen2 garbage and tries to peddle it here now like it’s some kind of a salvation.I skipped ahead from the first to the last post.
WTF?
@Reptile
I have a brand new g19 gen 5
$1200 FTF cash
Matching numbers
EFA-10
ETA: Grandfathered, grandmothered, grandpersoned…
Have you ever seen a picture of his stash? I'm leaning toward it not being real.He got a stash of old useless gen2 garbage and tries to peddle it here now like it’s some kind of a salvation.
Total off topic, but I just talked about it with solar salesman I got a contract with. Eversource has 0 reasons to increase actual power production as is a for profit operation and scarcity of a supply only increases prices while consumption and demand is not affected by price. It takes 5 minutes to fuel up a diesel ambulance vs. much longer for electric. This bill must be a nightmare for him. I can only imagine the amount of stuff he has stashed away that was formally known as "pre-ban" but is now known as "old, beat up stuff".He got a stash of old useless gen2 garbage and tries to peddle it here now like it’s some kind of a salvation.
Sure, All the electrics sure worked well during HeleneThat's a lot of assumptions. There can be a gas shortage too. I agree with what you're saying about the power grid, but that's speculation on the worst case scenarios at this point.
Knowing how the towns where I live actually share their ambulances, I think there may be some validity to what you're saying. In a perfect scenario the cars just stay in their area and then all that math makes sense. In reality they never have enough. I listen to their radios sometimes, they will often send a car 3-4 towns over because there are not enough of them.
If there were no new Glocks available by ANY means (FTF or Frame Game) - Could you survive???
I'd just like to know if only owning an old Glock (I know we can get newer ones) would put a person over the edge to move out of Massachusetts.
I'd say "no".
If you have a great job, home, family, and friends here in Massachusetts - I'd rather have all that rather than move away just to own a new Glock.
It would be a sad lonely life sitting in a new house with just Gen 5 and a new Noveske at the table and nothing else.
Even a Glock Gen 2 is better than some other newer manufacturers.
Could you survive with only a Gen 2 Glock?
$400? I can sell you several at that price, they even have new springs. The only possible way to survive in MA with a Pre-98 Glock 19 Gen 2 is to have at least a dozen or more $400 pre-ban mags stashed away for go-time. I’m buying if you are selling...

Yeah right. That's illegalI’ve never had an issue buying a Glock.
I was being funny.
I bought several in the past 2-3 months.
I’m really shocked that few people know how this is a thing.
The globe knows more than NES.
Sad….
Wanna buy one? I’ll give you the same deal I offered to reptile. $1200.Yeah right. That's illegal
It’s illegal to sell a pre ban mag.

Not if you drive up to the NH border. It’s illegal to sell a pre ban mag.
I know you all think I’m a hoarder but I only have about 10 square 9mm. That is my own stash until I croak. Not if you drive up to the NH border.
Why hold on so long?I know you all think I’m a hoarder but I only have about 10 square 9mm. That is my own stash until I croak.
I have about 40 G21 u notch 13 rounders but they are not valuable even though they are brand new.
I have hundreds of new AR pre bans in storage. They are worth $100 each to me but nobody else. Cases and cases of dated Colts in sealed cases from the 1970’s.
Now, those I’m hoarding. Bought them for $3,000 per case from gun shows in Pennsylvania 10 years ago.
SpeculationWhy hold on so long?
Because, shitlogic (tm) + manic behaviorsWhy hold on so long?
I guess I’m a hoarder and collector. Why hold on so long?
I hope for your own sanity you never sit down and figure out what you spent on all that and what better uses you could've found for that cash.I guess I’m a hoarder and collector.
I don’t even use this stuff.
I’ve been using the same 5 AR mags for 20 years.
My Gucci bags and sneakers never leave the house.
I have enough new in bag Kitanica clothes to start by one boutique. Yet, I only wear 2 pants and 2 shorts all year.
I have a sickness.
I have a good idea.I hope for your own sanity you never sit down and figure out what you spent on all that and what better uses you could've found for that cash.
Need to keep OPSEC.Chris, you need to spend more time satisfyling the ladies than posting on the board.
Can you link the board the women frequent to post about you? It would be hilarious in a big way.
