I was given a black powder revolver (it has a top notch in the cylinder, it does not take caps). I think it's Belgian. There's a flange behind the cylinder that is wider than the cylinder. That was my first reaction. It might be WWI vintage. In front of the cylinder is a hex bolt that says 'Leaoue' and a small diamond stamp with the letters AR. The L could be a cursive K also. There is an accent over the last e. Does anyone have any ideas? There are no other identifying marks on it. It has a swivel loop on the butt and has a plunger slightly offset from the barrel.
I'll post a picture when I can.
