As I've been going through my dad's collection I came across this Mauser. It had a Simmons 3-9 on it with the see through rings. Where one would usually find the armorer markings is completely blank. Beneath the furniture is the stamped serial # with another alpha numeric # beneath it.
I only have Swedish Mausers and I don't know much beyond those regarding Mausers. Any thoughts on what this may be to help narrow down my research?

All Czechs had straight bolts; save the G33/40. Has a Czech style take down dimple, but Czech serials are on the side of the receiver. What does the receiver look like?
