I wonder what Martha thinks of this

“I don’t buy this ‘alcohol and guns don’t mix’ propaganda,” says NRA spokesman Elmer Fudd. “Having the option to purchase handguns in bars should prevent troublemakers from starting bar fights in the first place.”

Shouldn't he be wabbit hunting?

Works for me.

BTW, they also reported on a secret non-lethal device used by the Ferguson Police to disperse protestors.

Ferguson Police Use ‘Brown Note’ Sound Device On Protesters

The urban myth of the “brown note” - a noise which causes uncontrollable bowel movements - has became reality in Ferguson, Missouri.

Today police used a device called the B-Note 300XS to disperse protesters gathered for the killing of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown. It creates a frequency of 5 to 9 Hz and was successful in causing unsuspecting protesters to defecate themselves in public....

In case anyone is unaware, the Daily Currant is a satire site, similar to The Onion. None of the stories are real.

Marsha would poop herself, call a state of emergency and tinfoil in a underground vault.....maybe we should do that and lock the bitch away. [rofl]

This goes back a ways... to 2000. [shocked] That is when they got the firearms control act. Money in machine went to an anti gun group.

The Gun Control Alliance is committed to enhancing public safety by reducing the number of guns in South Africa society through stricter gun control.
It consists of a diverse number of organisations and individuals who have endorsed the Charter for Gun Control which recognises that the current Arms and Ammunition Act is outdated and fails to adequately screen firearm license applicants, or monitor existing gun owners.

For one of its campaigns in 2000, the association had installed on university campuses and shopping malls several vending machines that sell guns. A simple and direct way to demonstrate how easy it is to get hold of a gun in South Africa. The money collected was used to support the activities of the gun-free society.
Still debating it today.

"Kirsten: There are three main sources of illegal guns. The primary source is loss and theft from legal, gunowners – up to 20 000 a year.

The second source is loss or theft from state officials such as police and the military. Old stock is often taken from the military in what we call leakage. The third source is the cross-border trade.
It’s difficult to work out how many illegal guns there are. There are rumours that cops hire out their guns, and that guns from police evidence rooms are hired out or stolen. Our research shows that one of the most common places that cops left their weapons was on the toilet cistern."
"Research shows that having a gun for self defence does not ensure your safety. The risks of having a gun in the home are multiple: domestic violence, accidental discharge, mistaken identity shootings, kids setting it off, risk of suicide. An unintended consequence is that you could feed the illegal market."

Warren Turdman said the vending machines would be okay with him as long as they use "smartgun" technology.

The secret non-lethal device? It wasn't so much the "secret" device as the "secret" message that came with it:
"Go home! Go home NOW... or we will NOT REFILL YOUR EBT CARD THIS MONTH!!!"

The streets emptied faster than the local tavern would when a chick walks in, eight months pregnant, in search of the Daddy...

if we could get rid of the GCA, we could make this beautiful machine a reality. Imagine, no one would be justified in complaining about the rude gun shop employees ever again [rofl]

I remember being in Rome 4 years ago, right near the Pantheon. There's a vending machine there that has beer for sale.
There wasn't a line for it and nobody gave it a second look. Guess that's what happens when you stop making everything taboo...

Yup, cigarette and beer vending machines all over in Japan too.
