I got home to a couple new holsters, so while I did stuff around the house I tried them out. I had them on the desk with the guns they work with, I did figure out that I dont like them.

The most important part was that my wife didnt even ask about the guns she just wanted to know what fit well and what I was going to return. thought it was cool that she now

1 Knows I dont fool around as far as safety
2 She didnt see the gun as something to fear
C still thinks I might send something back

I am still newish to daily life with guns just thought it was cool that today she didnt question anything. She likes to shoot and maybe me being willing to help her to shoot helps

So you don’t like them and are going to keep them anyway?

Comptac Mtac or Crossbreed all day. Happy with both but prefer the Mtac overall. Spent plenty on holsters can’t beat the value to craftsmanship in my opinion.

Happy wife, Happy Life and all but it is nice she is going along smoothly with it all.

I do this all the tine to irritate OCD jerks.

OP, you are well on your way, but you are no Jedi yet. The true test is when she sorts around a box of ammo i the kitchen drawer looking for a spoon and no longer questions the ammo in the kitchen drawer.

Or when she no longer asks “Is that a new gun?” Because she’s tired of hearing “No I’ve had this one since before we met” or “No I traded one of my old ones for this” or “No this is my buddy’s I’m just testing it for him” or “No it just looks new because I polished it real nice”.

In my house or goes something like this:
    "Is that a new gun?"
    "Yup!"
    "Can I shoot it??"

My wife is indifferent to guns. No real interest in shooting, but doesn’t care that it takes up almost all my free time in one form or another. Thing is, toddler and another one on the way, means my gun buying days are over for a while. And my free time is no longer really mine. :) It’s cool though. I’m taking quite nicely to daddydome.

Thats great, until you have to hustle somewhere and it falls down your leg or falls out onto the ground.

A clip on, inside the waistbamd, soft nylon holster is best for that type of gun. I carry an S&W Air Weight .38 snubby like that in gym shorts and T shirt in summer. Holster clipped over a tied drawstring and its very comfortable.

I have discovered my wife's firearm racism. She thinks all black guns look the same. I shit you not. If it is stainless she will ask " Is that new?" If it is black, she can't tell them apart. Ahh, she is precious.

Agreed. Funny though, I saw a local cop carrying a semi auto handgun in the waistband at appendix without a holster last weekend. He was in civvies of course. Still odd to see that.

When I tell my wife “We are going to need another (or bigger) safe”, she knows it means that I/we just adopted another big boy toy. Then she just replies with, “Ok, but only if you get rid of a smaller one (safe) too”. Married 25 years and still going strong.

You'll be at arsenal level before you know it.

Remember, to a libtard, even ONE makes you a gun nut. And I carry more than one most days
