Angilo Freeland ... was hit 68 times by the SWAT team members' shots

"I suspect the only reason 110 rounds was all that was fired was that's all the ammunition they had," Judd said. "We were not going to take any chance of him shooting back."

That's a 60% success rate. The only thing wrong with this incident is he wasn't hit 110 times.

They only had 110 rounds for 10 officers? Heck! Most NESers carry that much themselves!

Florida Police Shot Suspected Cop Killer 68 Times

And people wonder why soldiers get a tad agressive when one of their buddies get killed. You don't get hit that many times unless there is some emotion envolved.

The only bad part of this story is the BG didn't suffer...

10 street officers carrying semi pistols alone would have between 300 and 400 rounds. Add patrol rifles in and there's another 400.

Injuries to Deputy Williams:

1. One shot in his right wrist
2. One shot in his left bicep
3. One shot in his left rear thigh
4. One shot in his right leg
5. One shot in his right buttock
6. One shot in his right upper arm
7. One shot at close range behind his right ear
8. One shot where the muzzle was touching his skin - near his right temple

Freeland got what he deserved.

Or injured.[wink] I know what Alan and a few of his buddies did. Plus it didn't help that it was by someone in 10th Mtn that injured one of theirs. We'll just say the Engineers gave 10th Mnt a good ass whoopin and then some.

I dunno, a shot to subdue him followed up with death by baton beating would have been better. Kinda like Joe Pesci's beating at the end of Casino.
Or better yet use perps like this to test out new combat rounds.
"Sorry Mr Freeland... we thought for sure the vest would stop that .50 round from the Barrett." "Next test subject!"

Bullshit! He's dead and it was quick. To get what he deserved, he have to still be alive, waiting for the next non-fatal round to hit ... maybe an elbow this time. You people seem to be getting soft lately.

Good point, it was too quick and easy for him, what I meant when I posted "he got what he deserved" was that he executed the wounded defenceless deputy and deserved to die for it.

They should have let him surrender after shooting him a couple of times, tattooed his head with "I rape muslim girls", put him in uniform, and thrown him out of the back of a truck in the middle of Sadr City Baghdad.

they probably opted to not reload and continue firing cause that would have looked suspicious.....lol

He wasn't hit nearly enough if you ask me......
