I REALLY thought I’d hate a Glock 45

But damnit the friggin thing is a tack driver. Plus it fits my hand very well and the point of aim is very natural. I really didn’t think this would be the case, but the ergonomics for this particular Glock is excellent. I can’t believe I’m going to say this but it may end up being one of my favorite handguns.

Had a lot of fun at the range with it today. Target is at 10 yards.

What good is having a 17 round capacity with only 10 rounds?
 
this is one of the guns im thinking about buying, and then sending off to agency arms for their sage dynamics build

i have a g19, g17, g34 - i think g45 makes sense for the next one right?
 
Atta boy Rockrivr1. Good on ya. With 10+1, no one can accuse you of being undergunned. Of course 13+ 1 is better. Awfully nice nightstand gun, for things that go bump in the night,

You in the G45 mafia club now.... I have two of em.... I like it almost as much as my 19s.

Yup they shoot great which is why I dig them too. The 17 has always even my fave but 19 or 45 are close enough to check the same boxes.
 
I’m in agreement. For me the 45 is the best balanced, best pointing handgun I’ve found.
Thought it was stupid when Glock came out with a Long framed short slide model. I’m so sorry for having these feelings I now own 3 of em.

The 45 is the same slide as a 19 but has a G17 sized grip.

You get a shorter slide than a 17 and a longer grip that holds 17+1.

It feels great in the hand because you have your whole hand on the grip.

The bigger grip makes the gun print more when CCW, though.

It balances real well.

People love the G17 but the slide is too long.

Now, you can have a short slide and the hi capacity of a G17.

No Glock ever made feels better in the hand and feels so great to shoot.

All Gen5 got great ergonomics, fits hand great indeed.
