I cannot explain this trick

That guy is great... Ever see the one where he goes up to a fast food restaurant and pulls a burger out of their menu where the picture of it is leaving only an empty space on the menu, takes a bite and puts it back onto the menu and the picture is there again only now with a bite taken out of it?

Good stuff.

Hands

I also noticed that:

- Once he pushed the coint through the glass, you never saw the bottom on his hand until after he pulled it back and extended his fingers.

- He pulled up both sleeves after showing that his hands were empty.

Still no idea on the salt shaker though.

This kind of trick requires a lot of skill - I doubt any of us could pull it off convincingly even if we knew the exact techniques used.

Back when we lived in L.A., we went to The Magic Castle in Hollywood for dinner a few times (magicians and their guests only). They have several different shows going during the evening. The one I really loved was sitting in the front row, within 6 feet of the performer, who was doing the rope tricks (passing knots, wiping them off the rope, cutting and reassembling the rope, etc.). I know exactly how some of these are done, but the thing that made it great was knowing that, sitting that close, and still not being able to spot a damn thing.

When I was a kid a place we used to eat at, called Max and Ermma's.

On Sunday nights they had this kids night thing. And they had a Magican that would walk around to the tables and do tricks at the table. The kids would always be a part of it. It was really cool.
