Hypothetical: protest coming to your neighborhood. How do you prep?

Maybe violent, maybe not. Where are you and your rifle?

  • Everything is as it always has been. Rifle in safe and I’m alert.

  • Rifle by door and I’m carrying.

  • Sitting on the porch, rifle under blanket next to me.

  • Rifle and me sitting on the roof.

Results are only viewable after voting.
I live on a dead end/cul-de-sac and I’m betting the 1/2mile long road would take a vote and block the end of the road off. We have families and retirees up here - no need to let trouble into the area. I’d park the truck across the end of the road.
 
I’m gonna follow Calsdad’s tactic: gillie up, lie waiting in my neighbor’s yard decked out with 10-rd PMAGs and waste anyone near my house showing evil intentions. Then exfil into darkness before they realize what hit them.
 
For a protest I would go about my regular day.

If a riot and looting situation.
I'll put it this way as nicely as I can.
I would be like a girl on those first few dates where only she knows how the night ends![smile]

If you're going to be joining the protest in your neighborhood, I'd recommend making a sign, and wearing a mask. Comfy shoes would probably help, too.
 
In all seriousness we gotta cut the head off of the snake with this shit. These people are funded and following tactics similar to what happened in South Africa. The war is on for the white man. And all the white apologists out there are going to suffer the same fate. Troubling times.
 
good god lad, i'm on the shady side of 70, i ain't climbing to no roof, that's for sure. and i doubt i could react and get out of the old man chair in time to do much good. i'll repel all boarders from my chair, shotgun at the ready, watching big bang theory reruns. best i can do.

Also, just for funsies, a local protest i feared could turn riotous would be a good chance to dust off the armor and carry a rifle indoors. Plate carrier on, and ill be spooning the rifle on the couch. Double drop leg holsters: one with a 40oz Colt .45 and the other with a bag of andy capps hot fries.

The world wide coordination of this even in candy ass ethnically homogeneous European socialist countries where police brutality is a relatively unknown problem? The distinctly Maoist flavor of the protests lead me to believe the CCP post Tienanmen Square bought up all the graying USSR stooges in the West which found themselves sponsor-less after 1991 and spent the past 30 years rebuilding that radical infrastructure into the insurrection we are witnessing today. The timing is too perfect to benefit China's moves on Hong Kong. If it was domestic commies/Soros/the DNC alone they'd have waited closer to the election to kick it off.
