I got a robocall call from the DPS this morning stating that they would not be available to do gun approvals due to the weather.

Fortunately, I wasn't planning to sell any guns or do any transfers today. I'm a small time Kitchen table dealer, but wonder what kind of effect this crap has on places like Hoffmans.

Just unreal. If I had any appointments, I'd have had half a mind to just do the transfer anyway.

Don.

I guess that is the issue with having the two check system, at my work we've had issues where the state's computers are down for maintenance or some crap like that. It wouldn't be a problem, except that it is always on Saturday when we are the busiest.

Though, I do have a question: Does CT have a provision like those put in place after Katrina, preventing LEOs from seizing firearms just because it is a state of emergency?
