After reading the Vermont hunting laws I do not see that there is a magazine capacity limit with a bolt actiin rifle. It seems it is for autoloader only. Can anyone verify that my Ruger scout .308 is good to go with a 10 round magazine. I do not want to spend $35 on a 5 rounder if It is not necessary.
Thank you

If it were me I would check the Vermont game laws. If all else fails call the Fish and Wildlife folks and ask. I haven't hunt VT for quite a while so I don't have a recent game law booklet.

I realize I am late to the party, but there is no cartridge capacity limit in Vermont on any action type other than autoloading, and that does not apply to .22 rimfire...
