Starting to charge these criminals (with sedition?!?) and going after their funding better be the Feds' way of sitting back and watching while the Dems declined aid, and just taking notes. A little of the "Youth and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery".

All of this makes me realize why my public safety career went the way it did. I switched mid-stream from LEO to Fire, strictly for continuity of pension/benefits. Ostensibly, my motivation was the fact that I have a very lucrative side business and the fire schedule was more conducive to working an outside job easily. I now realize that my methods of fighting unfairly when things went sideways would undoubtedly land me in jail in today's environment. Thank God I left that nonsense behind.

I read your description of how to wrestle with someone above and shake my head in disbelief. I used to end things very quickly, frequently with my Streamlight over the head and knock them out. People in society are NUTS if they think cop's should fight "fairly" once the bad guy decides to fight. No wonder we have the situation in various Donk cities that we are currently seeing.

I suspect we shall see a LOT of cop's retire early, or even just leave the job and move on. I cannot fathom why ANYONE would want to deal with this nonsense. Let society have what it seemingly wants, hood rats controlling the streets and attacking the weak members of society at whim. I'm comfortable with that, too. At my age, I'll protect my wife and I appropriately. Even a life sentence, God forbid, is not a long time if the unthinkable happens.

We are starting to see many reports of normally law abiding citizens getting fed up with being threatened and pushing back by either displaying firearms or actually using them. We have hit a tipping point. Bad people are currently in control, not society and not the police.
One of the few useful pieces of advice I ever got from my father was, "There is no such thing as a fair fight... If you are going to fight, assume the other guy is trying to kill you and act accordingly. If you are not prepared to kill the other guy find a way, any way, to walk away". I don't think I was much more than 10 when he told me this and I have carried it with me to this day.

There isn't enough money on the planet to get me to wear a badge. I respect those that do, but it's getting harder every day because I know they are still going to jam me up at the first opportunity as a lawful gun owner in this environment. Sad state of affairs we find ourselves in.

Looks like Rock left the Plantation. You once again over played your hand Dems. Election fraud aside the party is going the way of the doo doo bird.
I will bet the only reason the NYT even published that piece is because Rock referred the president as a 5 year old.

Sounds like panic to me, whats wrong? Funds drying up?..Seems to be a silver lining here with this Virus, all these soon to be unemployed professors will no longer poison young minds.
NEU has been spending like a drunken sailor buying up satellite campuses, including internationally, leasing additional space for the Boston campus, and building very expensive lab buildings since their current Chomsky acolyte president took over with a globalist attitude. Their enrollment is very heavily weighted towards foreign students now for cold hard cash. They went from a center left regional school to an international lefty school like Columbia or a mini-Harvard. Their recent dormitory projects have been ground leases to a third party developer that the university leases back from the developer whom leased the land from the university. That's the sort of thing cashed strapped governments do. NEU has to be stretching its credit lines very thin hoping that they can keep growing, raising tuition, getting grants, and developing an endowment to catch up on their spending. That's a VERY risky game.

The latest story is why YOU DO NOT GO WITH THE POLICE. You do what is right, and refuse to comply. #DefundthePolice

In regards to the Kung-Flu aid, the Dems want to provide state bailouts (far in excess of actual costs - to cover for decades of mismanagement). If that money doesn’t come through (and I don’t trust the GOP) I think the election may give the GOP some stones and not rollover until post November. This would mean the states would have to cut spending or Jack up taxes (a stupid amount based on the hole). Either of which would lead to more unrest.

Chris Rock was never on the plantation. I’ve had personal interactions with him and can tell you that Chris has impressed me as a very level headed and fair minded man. He is not one to hold back, even when it’s detrimental to his popularity with the people you’d expect him to pander to.
I always liked him and his act but I saw him in Boston a couple years ago after I can't remember which sweet yut was shot by the po po. Well he went on this anti cop riff how they indiscriminatley shoot blacks. It got old so I got up and went to the lobby, got a tall Heiniken and shot the shit with a cop till it was over. Just another Hollywood DB selling seats....F him...

You won’t be raising your children, the state will be. If you ask too many questions or object to anything officer friendly will show up for a ‘chat’.
You said you wanted to defund the police, right? Why do you think unpoliceable rage mobs would be a better alternative?

De funding the cops will be the least of our worries, there may be no funding at all at this rate.

And the 860,000 who applied for UI benefits last week.

Because the normal folks could defend themselves without being arrested. It won’t take long before the mobs figure out there are a lot less of them than us, and they are losing numbers.
I don't want to fight rage mobs. I want them to be afraid to behave badly, a status quo that has worked amazingly well throughout my lifetime. People like you will only screw things up with your badly conceived experiments. I have goals I want to achieve in order to leave the world a better place for my kids, and I can't do that if I have to stand watch with my rifle all night against AntifaBLM retards and their nihilistic enablers. You people are going to get really sick of having to do that too, and will get together to outsource security to a group of trained people, re-inventing police anyways. Such a waste of time.

Have you seen what’s been going on in Portland, Lancaster, Minneapolis, Chicago............,,???

I believe they will be at my door before this is over. I also believe that with things the way they are, the police will not show up to help me, but when I have to shoot some moron with a laser or Molotov; they will appear in seconds to arrest me.

Do you live in Mass? Did you see the riots & looting in Boston?

The recurring theme seems to be no one thinks the police are a problem until they stand aside and let the rioting go on ‘because of orders’. Now they have decided to arrest normal folks defending themselves, in cars that get surrounded and just want to get away rather than be beaten and now inside their own homes simply holding a gun while monitoring the mob. (Remember when people said the couple in St Louis should have just stayed inside? - I guess not).

The unpoliceable mobs are a symptom. The infiltration of our political and educational system with critical race theory, intersectionality, coupled with a grassroots push for socialism, is the root problem. I agree that I would PREFER for the police to do their job of stopping criminal misbehavior, versus citizens taking matters into their own hands. But what happens when police make arrests? Does the DA prosecute? Are legislators legislating in a direction you are comfortable with? The mobs are just the militant wing of their movement. Tin foil as it sounds, it's true.

So "defunding the police", to me, is less about "letting citizens guard stores with rifles and dealing with the mob" as it is "removing a roadblock that stands between citizens and the overthrow of tyranny". Right now the police are caught in the middle. Will they do the bidding of the powers that be, step aside for the mobs while arresting the law abiding citizens that dare to defend themselves? Or will they step aside for the law abiding citizens, and arrest the powers that be when we come to hang them. The mobs are just the foot soldiers. Do you really think THEY are the problem?
