I been running a benchmade volli for the past 5years now. Got pissed off at benchmade for there stunt (IMO) and started treating this knife like 💩. Use to watch out for the blade now I use on everything. I even pry paint cans open with it , sheet rock whatever metal to metal. You know what I found out, they really make good knife lol this thing keeps going. I resharpen its good to go. S30V steel.

I have many knives, but two EDC's.
A G Russell one handed folder with some kind of tough plastic handle for most days and rough duty.
William Henry folder with mammoth ivory scales that MrsA gave me for my birthday a few years ago for a little more dress up.

Yeah, EDC's can have many sub-Groups...

EDC~WORK
EDC~WEEKEND
EDC~FORMAL
EDC~NIGHT OUT WITH BUDS
EDC~FISHING & HUNTING
EDC~FIDGET SPINNER

"EDCing" is less about what knife, and more about carrying a knife, any Knife, Everyday...

What else? Feel free to add...

I occasionally carry the better ones but my EDC is typically no more than a 75 dollar knife. I think the Kershaw Clash i have now was like 30 bucks tops.
This. I think I paid $28 for my CRKT M21. I have a few of those cheap Smith knife sharpeners that I got at WalMart and with just a couple of passes to touch it up, I keep the blade sharp enough that it easily shaves the hair off your arm.
I bought three sharpeners. One for home, one in my desk at work, and I threw one in my bug out bag. I used to spend a ton of time sharpening. These get great results in seconds and I like knowing my knife is razor sharp at all times.

I rotate through and typically have 2 knives on me, one is just a folder utility knife and the other is my Olamic Cutlery Wayfarer 247.

I’ve carried it for about 4 years now and use it for everything from cutting boxes to cutting insulation and drywall at work stripping wires, using it to cut up veggies and apples, fire starting prying paint cans open flat head screw driver etc, I got it second hand and paid $300+ for it and love it, I can’t imagine buying something not to use it..

It is one of those things that once you hold or use something in that 500$ and up range the fit and finish is remarkably better than what you get from 100-300$ pricepoints. I was the same way until I handled a hinderer(can group into the high end production knives into that category: CRK, Medford to an extent, strider etc)The action , fit finish, and all the hand work out into it is worth it to some people.
I find myself gravitating more toward the high end production and custom options just because I enjoy the work and detail that goes into it along with the lifetime warranties.

Just got a whippersnapper, the quality from Olamic is the best I’ve ever handled!

Spiderco Delica - I was worried it might be a little light and thin for general pocket knife duties. But have been EDC for years with it and it's been very good. A periodic sharpening and I replaced the clip screws but that's the only thing I've had to do to it. I like the thinness of it as it sits clipped in the corner of my front pocket and adds no bulk.
