How many are packing??

I was curious what percent of the general public concealed carries. I found one link from a few years ago that listed 2.41% of adult Mainers with permits. New Hampshire does not track total numbers because records are spread out in local municipalities, but the author estmated numbers at a little over 5% of adults. Since Vermont has no permits it's hard to tell how many. I don't know about Mass. either.
Does anyone have better info on this? I was surprised how low the numbers were.

Having a permit has NO CORRELATION with the number of people carrying.

I literally know many hundreds of LTC holders, and only a handful of them carry!

And if some pollster asked me or my Wife if we carry, or when do we carry they would never get a reliable answer. I consider it a very personal question and not one that I'd answer to "Joe Random" taking a poll. I suspect that a lot of other folks would do likewise.

Sorry, but that is just another useful "statistic".
