How long for police chief to activate ltc?

So, I just called the FRB moments ago to confirm that my LTC was mailed out on the 28th of July, and the fellow there said that he apologized, but some of the licenses that were supposed to be mailed out to my town, somehow "fell through the cracks", and he found them lying around this morning and mailed them out today! That is RIDICULOUS and should be totally UNACCEPTABLE! And all this time I thought that it was my local P.D. that was holding things up! If you're looking for a delayed LTC... Call the FRB and demand to know the date that it was mailed out!
